Fun Friday at Kaye's Blog

Check out my friend Kaye's blog. She's celebrating Friday with a couple of fun quizzes. See my results below.

You Are a Chocolate Cake
Fun, comforting, and friendly.
You are a true classic, and while you're not super cutting edge, you're high quality.
People love your company - and have even been known to get addicted to you.

You Are Strawberry Ice Cream
A bit shy and sensitive, you are sweet to the core.
You often find yourself on the outside looking in.
Insightful and pensive, you really understand how the world works.

You are most compatible with chocolate chip ice cream.

Day One of Club 100 Writing Challenge

Today was day one of my writing challenge. I wrote 244 words. Nothing fantastic, just character sketching for NaNo. But, hey it's a start!

Club 100

I'm in the planning stages for my attempt to achieve a tiara. Yep, a tiara. I joined Club100writers about a month ago. It's a Yahoo! Group with the goal of teaching writers to write everyday. Here's how it works. I'll make a commitment to write at least 100 words every day for 100 days. Writers can choose to have a day or two off each week but must announce which days prior to starting the challenge. Any writer who completes the challenge wins a cyber tiara. The real prize is the beginnings of a habit-writing every day.
So here's my challenge: I will start tomorrow on my 100 words a day for 100 days challenge. I will take Monday's off just because that's my most hectic day at work.
Check back for my progress. Or, better yet, go to Yahoo!, join Club100writers, and take the challenge with me.
